“Water Snake” Chap Goh Meh Festival Celebration
Date: 23 February 2013 – 14th day of the Lunar New Year (Saturday)
Time: 7.00pm – 11.00pm
Venue: along Jalan Masjid Kapitan keeling, opposite Penang Chinese Town Hall Building

In the PCTH Auditorium, there will be appreciation of brush painting, Chinese chess, and handicrafts stalls, as well as fortune telling and Word Analysis . There will
also be Snake Performance and Puzzle/riddle challenge in the Ground floor of PCTH Building
Well Wishing Tree for fine weather, happy marriages, good health and prosperity as well as Tossing of mandarin oranges into blessing pool stage will be held in front of the road alongside the Kuan Im temple. (The proceeds from the sales of mandarin oranges and well-wishing cards will go to the Fu Yi Charitable Kidney Dialysis Centre)
In addition to this, cultural performances in the Stage along Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling is expected to start at 8pm which include Baba Nyonya Choir Performance, Snake/Lion dances Performance, Chinese New Year Dance Performance, Top class Kung Fu Performance from Shaolin . The climax of the event will be Lion Kings vying on High Stilts in front of PCTH building.
All the public (including tourists) are welcome to turn up for the “Water Snake” Chap Goh Meh Festival Celebration to be held on 23-2- 2013 (Saturday) at Penang Chinese Town Hall.

光青蛇联合演出,娘惹歌谣献唱,著名歌手献唱经典新春歌曲,中国全新少林功夫艺术团特别呈献紧张刺激精彩节目,夜光青蛇大拜年,高桩舞狮大会串,集体同时放彩球升空祝福万千等。也有槟城驰名美食街提供美食佳肴共品尝及街头庙会民俗文化展演。值得一提的是，这一次的元宵共庆会，庆祝节庆但不忘慈善公益，为佛义洗肾中心筹募洗肾基金。欢迎公众人士踊跃参与其盛。
